Ash Farm enjoys a wealth of character including stripped wood floors and doors, flagstone floors, beamed ceilings, inglenook open fire and wood burning stove, making it an ideal retreat in the winter months as well as a summer holiday destination. The good sized accommodation has some countryside views with enclosed garden and ample parking for 2 families.
Whitwell benefits from local post office, church and local family pub The White Horse serving good home cooked food all of which are a short stroll from the farmhouse. Good walks nearby.
Ventnor town s main shopping centre is also closeby with other nearby places of interest include the Isle of Wight Coastal Visitors Centre, St. Boniface Church, Botanic Gardens, Isle of Wight Glass at St Lawrence, the Rew Down Local Nature Reserve and St Boniface Down, which is the highest point on the Isle of Wight and also where Ventnor s Radar Station is situated. The Wight Light Gallery in the High Street has a stunning collection of Island images on sale. The Isle of Wight coastal path is a 65 mile (105km) long trail around the island, which follows the coastline as closely as possible. Ventnor s crescent shaped beach is ideal for families.
