Situated down a country no-through road the cottage would make an ideal holiday retreat for couples and families alike. Woodside beach is within easy walking distance.
Kipper Cottage is ideally situated near the Portsmouth Car Ferry. You can enjoy a glass of wine on the deck by the chalet on the waters edge. It has its own pontoon and slipway for your use. Victoria Yacht Club is opposite on the Creek and welcomes temporary visitors. For those wishing to explore the Island on foot or by bike, Firestone Copse and Quarr Abbey are close by. Nearby Havenstreet is best known for its famous steam railway which is a delightful day out for all the family where you can catch a train to Wootton, Ashey or Small Brook.
It is also close to Osborne House at East Cowes.
The Victorian town of Ryde is a short drive and is the second major town on the Island. There are a variety of restaurants, bars and shops and for those with families are the many other lists of attractions. The gently sloping sandy beach spans approximately one mile to Appley.
