Springside is situated in the village of Whippingham, famous for its church designed by Prince Albert, and regularly attended by the Royal Family when in residence at Osborne House, just a mile away. The cottage is close to country and riverside walks, and within two miles of Cowes, the world famous yachting centre, and three miles from the Isle of Wight County town of Newport.
