If you are coming to the Isle of Wight for a family holiday or a peaceful escape and want top quality facilities Chestnut Mews is the perfect choice – any time of the year.
For bright, welcoming, self catering holiday cottages, equipped to a high standard with an almost unbeatable location look no further than Jasmine and Honeysuckle Cottages, situated in Chestnut Mews on the semi rural outskirts of Shanklin Old Village.
Our modern and charming three bedroom cottages provide comfortable accommodation for up to six guests. They have one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and two twin rooms with a family bathroom. Clock-radios a hair dryer and an Iron & ironing board are provided in each cottage. For those with young children we have stair gates fitted, cot and highchair available. Downstairs there is a lounge /dinner equipped with a flat screen TV with free to view Sky Channels, video, CD and DVD player and selection of DVD’s. Patio doors open from the lounge to a decked area with garden views where if you lucky rabbits, red squirrels and other wild life can be spotted on the lawn. Our light and bright kitchens are fully equipped each with a microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, or if you would rather do your cooking alfresco there is also a barbeque.
Our guests have complimentary use of a private outdoor and indoor pool, tennis courts, indoor and outdoor play areas and sauna within easy reach from the cottages.
The cottages have a large, mature, secluded fenced garden with an outdoor little tykes play area, wooden play house and a variety of pretty shrubs and trees. You can relax in the gardens and listen to the sound of water trickling down the chine that runs along the bottom of the garden.
Only a five minute walk and you are in Shanklin Old Village with its traditional thatched cottages, selection of teashops serving homemade cakes, pubs with home cooked meals and selection of gift shops. You are also just a 10 minute walk from the cliff path with steps down to the beautiful sandy beach.
Jasmine and Honeysuckle cottages are a home from home, many of our guests have enjoyed staying with us so much they have returned year after year.
