I fell in love with Murano glass many years ago on a school trip to Venice, then fell in love again in recent years when I bought my first piece of Venetian glass jewellery.
I had great difficulty finding more Venetian and Murano glass jewellery here in the UK, so visited Venice in search of glass with which to make my own jewellery. Having returned with lots of beautiful glass beads and other pieces, I set about designing and making individual, contemporary jewellery.
Most of the glass I use in my jewellery is hand-crafted for me by a carefully chosen selection of expert glassmakers in Venice and Murano. I then incorporate the glass into my own jewellery designs using other luxurious materials: sterling silver, 18ct gold-plated silver, 9ct gold, silk, organza, leather, suede, and more.
