Glebe Farm is situated within half a mile of the village of Calbourne, with its local pub and picturesque Winkle Street and Calbourne Mill. Public footpaths and bridleways surround Glebe Farm making it ideal for walking and exploring the Isle of Wight countryside. (Wellington boots are advisable for wet weather). Brighstone and Westover Forests are a short walk away.
The farm is a small family run business with sheep, cows, pigs and free range chickens, ducks and geese. Glebe Farm is ideal for couples and families who desire a "get away from it all" holiday. It is set in a quiet, rural location and is safe for children who can see the farm animals as well as the horses and miniature ponies.
Caravans are generally let on a Saturday to Saturday basis but may be available for long weekends or other short breaks. Although the farm is away from the hustle and bustle there is a near-by bus route and village shops.
In addition to our own caravans, you can pitch your tent on our site for 10 pounds per night.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on the farm and this is an excellent base to explore the Island with four legged friends.
Clay pigeon shooting is available by prior arrangement.
Caravans are made ready for 3.00pm on the afternoon of the arrival date.
