The Mendip Farmers Hunt meets twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the season which begins in November and ends in late March. The hunt enjoys a popular following in the country, both from mounted followers and those on their feet. Besides the hunting the Mendip Farmers' Hunt organise a busy schedule of functions and events.
The well-foxed country is largely grass with stone walls in the Mendips and rhines (dykes) in the Somerset levels.
Visitors are always welcome; if you want to come along on a horse please give the secretary a call.
